Introduction

Are you passionate about clinical software, Applied Behavior Analysis, Developmental Therapies, and/or creating relationships with practitioners worldwide? Perhaps you are a clinician looking for extra work without expanding your client caseload.

Motivity is seeking a part-time contractor to join our growing sales team.  The ideal candidate is a BCBA with software sales experience who is an engaging, dynamic presenter – excited to talk to others about products that they love, and answer questions in a fast-paced environment!

Funded by over $11M in grants from the National Institutes of Health, Motivity is an evidence-based software-as-a-service developed for practitioners who work with children with autism. Our groundbreaking technology takes ABA and Developmental Therapy data collection to the next level, allowing clinics, schools, and home-based services to leverage the power of data to improve the lives of their clients.

Motivity is a dynamic, young company with opportunities for upward mobility. You can help shape the direction of our growth and culture. The business is based out of Honolulu and Seattle, and our diverse team works remotely throughout the US.

The Client Development role is an independent contractor, work-from-home, part time position reporting to the Director of Sales. Depending on contractor and company performance, this role has the possibility of moving to a salary position with full benefits.  In addition to hourly pay, the Client Development Contractor may be eligible for commission on deals that they close.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and cultivating relationships with new potential clients (ABA and Developmental Therapy providers) to schedule demos
  • Finding new potential Motivity clients through outbound prospecting
  • Conducting product demos and follow-up meetings with clinicians and decision-makers
  • Maintaining accurate records of all sales opportunities (e.g. contact information, company details, and notes/descriptions of all interactions), and forecasting the potential of the deal closing
  • Creating and sending prospect proposals
  • Maintaining relationships, following up, and bringing deals to close
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • You’ve thrived in a startup or similar environment where the only constant is change
  • You have experience in sales and/or marketing, and understand how to best position a product or solution to a prospective client
  • You have solid knowledge of ABA (BCBA preferred), and extensive experience utilizing Electronic Data Collection
  • You’re a dynamic presenter with the ability to “think on your feet” and pivot as questions arise / participants respond
  • You love talking to people, learning about their needs, and demonstrating a fantastic solution – all while actively listening and staying in the moment
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain things clearly and effectively
  • You have a high level of organization, time management, and self-initiative while working independently from a home office
  • You are experienced with utilizing CRMs (Hubspot preferred).  If you do not know Hubspot, you feel comfortable learning the platform to utilize in your daily work; overall comfort with software and technology is a must
  • You have a constant thirst for learning and ability to figure out new approaches to sales strategies
  • You are motivated by closing deals and earning commission
