Rex is the founder and Chief of Strategy and Innovation.  He founded Motivity in 2013, then led the company until Smith came on as CEO in 2025. Now he is focused on Motivity's long-term direction — deciding where we're headed as a company, which markets to pursue, and how our product roadmap evolves. He helps to lead our R&D and innovation efforts, including new initiatives like AI-driven clinical insights and decision support metrics. Rex lives in Honolulu, Hawaii, US for eight months of the year and Seattle, Washington, USA for four months of the year.  He lives with his wife Allegra; two sons (20 and 22) have flown the nest. When not exploring AI, he likes ocean swimming, photography, and traveling the world.
