The purpose of this presentation is to discuss how board-certified practitioners can approach ABA case conceptualization with respect to minimizing risks to independence and an improved quality of life (QoL). This Risk-Driven Approach is designed to standardize the individualized case conceptualization process without standardizing treatment plans ensuring clients’ rights to effective services towards an improved QoL (Taylor et al., 2023).
