A message from our Founder
I founded Motivity Systems to help bring evidence-based behavioral interventions from the research lab to the community. 20 years ago, I founded Vivalog Technologies, building software that was used by thousands of clinicians to construct shared online repositories for decision support. I eventually sold that company to McKesson Corporation, the world's largest healthcare technology company, where I served as VP for five years. During that time, I began exploring ways to apply knowledge management technology towards autism intervention. I became an affiliate researcher at the University of Washington Autism Center (UWAC), working closely with some of the world’s leading autism intervention researchers. The ideas behind Motivity were shaped as I participated in ABA sessions and saw firsthand the limitations of existing software approaches. In 2013, I left McKesson to focus on Motivity full time. We have assembled an outstanding team, and we are excited about the opportunity to have a transformational impact in this important field.
